- 1lb crab meat
- 1 sm onion, chopped
- 1 stick butter
- 1 8oz Philadelphia cream cheese
- paprika cayenne pepper
- garlic powder
- 1/4 cup half & half
- Saute onion in butter; then add cream cheese.
- When cream cheese is melted, ad seasonings; then add crab meat and simmer about 5 minutes.
Use paprika, cayenne pepper and garlic powder to taste. (I use a couple of shakes here and a couple of shakes there). Use fresh lump crab meat for best taste and use real butter. Go through crab meat to make sure all shells have been removed.
