Crispy Pot Sticker Parmesan Bake

A quick Italian-Asian fusion dish—like baked ravioli, but with chicken and vegetable pot stickers.

Serves: 4
Prep: 10 minutes
Cook: 25 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 package frozen chicken and vegetable pot stickers (about 20)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes, optional
  • Fresh basil or parsley, for serving

Directions

  1. Heat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Arrange the frozen pot stickers in a single layer and cook for 2–3 minutes, until the bottoms are golden.
  3. Add ¼ cup water, cover the skillet and steam for 4–5 minutes. Remove the lid and let any remaining water evaporate.
  4. Sprinkle in the garlic, Italian seasoning and red pepper flakes. Cook for about 30 seconds.
  5. Pour the marinara sauce around and over the pot stickers. Top evenly with mozzarella and Parmesan.
  6. Bake uncovered for 12–15 minutes, until the sauce is bubbling and the cheese is melted. Broil for an additional 1–2 minutes for a nicely browned top.
  7. Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and serve with garlic bread or a simple salad.

Note: Browning the pot stickers before adding the sauce gives them better flavor and keeps them from becoming too soft.
