Shrimp Roban

This is a great Cajun Cream Sauce that can go with a few different protiens, Shrimp, Chicken, or Crawfish.

Ingredients:

  • 1 stick of butter
  • 1 medium Onion (chopped)
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 bunch green onions (chopped)
  • 1/2 tbs. cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 2 jars Alfredo Sauce (classic)
  • 1 qt. half/half
  • 5-8 oz parmesan cheese (graded)
  • 1 jar Paul Prudomme’s (blackedn redfish seasoning)
  • 2 1/2 lbs. shrimp (peeled and de-veined)
  • 2 boxes bow tie pasta

Directions:

  • Saute’ onions, butter garlic and green onions.
  • Add blacken redfish seasoning and cayenne pepper and saute’ for 2-3 miutes
  • Add shrimp and cook till pink.
  • Add Alfredo Sauce, half/half and simmer for 20-30 minutes
  • Add cooked pasta

Notes:

After cookoing this many times we have a few variations and notes:
We do not use the Cayenne pepper.
You can also add Sauted Mushrooms
Top with Cherry Tomatoes
The Alfreedo sauce jars are 15 oz
Blacken Redfish seasooning, is 2 oz or 1/3 cup
Pasta Boxes, we use 1.5 boxes, 24 oz.

This makes 25 8 oz servings
