Crabmeat Dip

  • 1lb crab meat
  • 1 sm onion, chopped
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 8oz Philadelphia cream cheese
  • paprika cayenne pepper
  • garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup half & half

  1. Saute onion in butter; then add cream cheese.
  2. When cream cheese is melted, ad seasonings; then add crab meat and simmer about 5 minutes.

Notes:
Use paprika, cayenne pepper and garlic powder to taste. (I use a couple of shakes here and a couple of shakes there). Use fresh lump crab meat for best taste and use real butter. Go through crab meat to make sure all shells have been removed.
